About PDG
What is PDG?
PDG (ProDriver Group Inc.) provides fuel programs and fleet management technology built specifically for Canadian trucking companies. We help fleets simplify operations, control fuel spend, and improve visibility across their business.
Is PDG a fuel company or a software company?
PDG delivers both. We operate fuel programs for fleets and are building a purpose-built Trucking Management System (TMS) designed to integrate fuel, dispatch, billing, and compliance into one operational ecosystem.
Who is PDG built for?
PDG is designed for owner-operators and small to mid-sized fleets (1–100 trucks) that want operational control without enterprise-level complexity.
Do you serve fleets outside Canada?
We focus primarily on Canadian fleets operating domestically and cross-border into the U.S.
How quickly can we get started?
Fuel programs can typically be activated within days once documentation is completed. TMS onboarding depends on fleet size but usually takes one to two weeks for full setup and training.
Is there a contract?
We aim to keep agreements simple and transparent. Most plans are flexible, without long-term lock-ins.
Can I use only Fuels or only TMS?
Yes. You can use either solution independently. However, the combination of our fuel program and TMS will provide the most efficiencies for your operations.
Is onboarding complicated?
No. We provide structured onboarding and guided setup to ensure a smooth transition without disrupting daily operations.
What makes PDG different?
PDG was designed around the real operational challenges of small and mid-sized trucking fleets. Leveraging extensive experience in fuel programs and logistics operations, we built solutions that introduce measurable efficiencies, financial control, and clarity — without the overhead and complexity of large enterprise systems.
PDG Fuels
How long does it take to receive fuel cards?
Once an application is approved, cards are typically issued within a few business days.
Which fuel networks do you support?
We work with major commercial fuel networks in Canada and the US to provide access to fuel and competitive pricing where your Drivers need it.
Can I assign cards by truck or driver?
Cards can be assigned by unit, by driver, or both — depending on your preferred level of control.
Can I set limits and restrictions?
Yes. You can define spending limits, transaction controls, fuel type restrictions, and geographic parameters.
Can cards be disabled instantly?
Yes. Cards can be paused or deactivated immediately if needed.
How does consolidated billing work?
All transactions are grouped into a single, clear statement — simplifying reconciliation and reducing administrative time.
Is billing weekly or monthly?
Weekly billing, with payment terms defined by the credit standing of a company.
What happens if a payment fails?
We notify you immediately and provide a short window to resolve the issue before any service interruption.
Can I track fuel by unit or driver?
Yes. Transactions can be filtered and exported by unit, driver, and time period for clear reporting.
Does it support IFTA reporting?
Fuel data can be exported for IFTA purposes, and when paired with PDG TMS, reporting becomes fully streamlined.
Is there fraud protection?
Yes. Spend controls and detailed transaction visibility significantly reduce misuse and fraud risk.
PDG TMS
What is included in PDG TMS?
PDG TMS includes dispatch management, load tracking, driver settlements, invoicing, fuel visibility (when paired with PDG Fuels program), compliance tracking, and operational reporting — all in one centralized ecosystem.
Is PDG TMS cloud-based?
Yes. The system is fully cloud-based and accessible securely from anywhere.
Do drivers have a mobile app?
Yes. Drivers can receive load details, upload documents, and track activity directly from their mobile device.
Can I manage multiple loads at once?
Yes. The platform supports multi-load dispatch workflows and real-time operational updates.
Does it support both FTL and LTL?
Yes. Both full truckload and partial load workflows are supported.
Can drivers upload PODs and documents?
Yes. Drivers can upload bills of lading, PODs, and other documents directly into the system.
Can I manage accessorial charges?
Yes. Accessorial charges can be recorded and applied to customer billing and driver settlements.
Can driver pay be calculated automatically?
Yes. Pay structures can be configured per driver — percentage-based, per mile, per load, or custom structures.
Can I generate driver settlements?
Yes. Settlement reports are generated per pay cycle and can be exported.
Can I generate customer invoices?
Yes. Invoices can be created directly within the system, or integrated with QuickBooks.
Does it integrate with QuickBooks Online?
Yes. Integration with QuickBooks Online is supported for streamlined accounting workflows.
Does it support IFTA reporting?
Yes. Mileage and fuel tracking support IFTA-ready reporting.
Can I store compliance documents?
Yes. Driver licenses, insurance certificates, and other documents can be stored and tracked within the system.
Is historical data preserved?
Yes. All operational data is securely stored and accessible for reporting, audits, and long-term analysis.
How long does onboarding take?
Most fleets are operational within one to two weeks, depending on complexity.
Is pricing per truck?
Pricing is structured per active truck, aligning cost with fleet size.
Are there hidden fees?
No. Pricing is transparent and clearly outlined.
What support do you provide?
We provide guided onboarding and ongoing operational support to ensure continued success.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. We keep agreements straightforward and flexible.
Does PDG provide profitability and financial reporting?
Yes. PDG TMS includes customizable reporting tools, including operational summaries and P&L visibility by truck, driver, load, or time period. This gives fleet owners a clear understanding of where their money is made — and where it’s lost.
By connecting dispatch, fuel, billing, and expenses in one system, PDG helps identify inefficiencies, improve margins, and support smarter operational decisions.
